The Rocky Mount Museum features a two-story log house built between 1770 and 1772 that served as capital of the former Southwest Territory in the late 18th century. Costumed interpreters portray life as it was in 1791, demonstrating daily tasks of that time period. It is located in Piney Flats north of Winged Deer Park on U.S. Highway 11/19.
